Note: This is a deeper discussion of the things we value and how we work. Read more about what we believe here.
We believe that people, software, and companies, are never perfect, therefore a key mindset for us is that we should be constantly improving. We don't ever want to find ourselves satisfied with the current state of affairs.
How does this manifest itself in practice?
Here's a small sample of some of the improvements in 2012:
- New & Improved Features: A brand new look and feel, custom field support, powerful filtering, email integration, a marketing system, stock management system, and a new Learning Management System.
- New & Improved Processes: A new help desk, free trials of our product, new payment methods, and new processes for developing, testing, and deploying our software.
In addition to these, there have been many other huge improvements in how we handle customer interactions, address bugs, and communicate with each other and our customers.
The Opposite of Improvement is Delusion
Critical to consistent improvement is the relentless application of transparency to everything we do. If we're not completely honest with ourselves or our customers, we won't know what we need to improve. In many ways, the opposite of improvement is delusion! Our commitment to you and to each other is that we will honestly assess ourselves, admit where we need to improve, then work hard to make sure that we do!
We've got great plans for 2013 and we're determined to continue to improve everything we do. Let us know how we can get better!
