Earlier this week our CEO gave a brief presentation on how we hire employees here at Administrate. This was part of the an ongoing meetup hosted by the Edinburgh CodeBase for founders and CEOs of companies located within the building.
We don't claim to be experts on HR, but we have had quite a bit of experience hiring both at this company and at previous companies our team has been a part of. Many of the things within this document are common sense, but they can often be overlooked, particularly in quickly growing companies.
Our hope is that you learn from our mistakes, that this challenges anyone out there running a company to think more intentionally about their hiring process, and that we get some great ideas from readers to further improve our own methodology.
